Premium cycling apparel brand Le Col has continued to develop its jersey range with the launch of an all-new The Tour jersey, made with 100% recycled fabric, for cycling fans and enthusiasts.
Following Le Col’s world first in producing a recycled leaders’ jersey for a major professional race – for The Tour’s events, The OVO Energy Tour Series, The OVO Energy Women’s Tour and The OVO Energy Tour of Britain – Le Col is now launching an official supporters’ Tour jersey also made with 100% recycled fabric.
The jerseys aim to affirm Le Col’s position as a pioneer that has ‘taken apparel innovation to the next level with both jerseys being constructed solely from 100% recycled fabric’. The jersey comes in either black with white strips or blue with red and white stripes.
According to Le Col, the all-new jersey shares an affinity with The OVO Energy Women’s Tour organiser SweetSpot’s values as ‘they wish to make their races more environmentally sustainable in the coming years.’
The jersey is based on Le Col’s SS18’s Pro Air range, which offers ‘eye-catching design in combination with enhanced materials and new designs’. The company adds that the all-new jersey embodies Le Col’s tailored and premium feel that makes the brand stand-out among its competitors.
The Tour jersey will be constructed at Le Col’s factory in Treviso, Italy, ‘ensuring that Le Col has total control of everything that bears the logo’.
The Tour Series Jersey is on sale at lecol.cc and Aqua Blue Sport, which is the official online store for The OVO Energy Tour Series, The OVO Energy Women’s Tour and The OVO Energy Tour of Britain and all replica technical and casual clothing. £1 from each transaction from The Tour Store on aquabluesport.com and lecol.cc will go to Breast Cancer Care.
