The organising team of The National Running Show, which took place last weekend at Birmingham’s NEC, have released a selection of images from day one and day two. Immediately upon wrapping up this year’s expo for all things running in the UK, the show organisers confirmed the dates, and some star guests, in 2020.
The National Running Show 2020 has been confirmed to take place on Saturday 25th – Sunday 26th January 2020. Confirmed speakers include British track star Sally Gunnell; Europe’s greatest ever 100m sprinter Linford Christie; ultramarathoner Dean Karnazes; and 3-time Olympic medallist Kriss Akabusi.






This year’s 2019 show featured over 170 brands. Notable product launches at the show included: Polar’s Vantage V multisport watch; Saucony’s limited edition Kinvara 10 shoe; and Swiss shoe brand On, which featured its latest Cloudsurfer shoe.
Day one of the 2019 show also saw fitness and lifestyle brand Runr launch its Unstoppable technical run hat and Go Backpack. Meanwhile, 2pure launched Run Gum and secured pre-orders for the London Marathon Edition of goodr sunglasses.
The National Running Show was also a platform for CamelBak to launch its Women’s Ultra Pro Vest, with fittings and pre-orders taking place at the company’s stand over the weekend. SKINS was also showcasing its latest, high performance DNAmic Ultimate compression range, while audio specialist Plantronics took the opportunity to feature two new top-of-the-range wireless sports headsets, the BackBeat Fit 3100 and BackBeat Fit 2100.
There was plenty of nutrition also on offer, with runner and chocolatier Carole Armitage launching her new chocolate range 80 Noir Ultra.
