The Spring Air Company, one of the world’s largest mattress manufacturing companies, has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with T3 Athletic Recovery Products to produce and market an official Ironman mattress. The new lineup will be showcased at the Winter Las Vegas Furniture Market in February 2009 and will be available at leading retailers shortly thereafter.
“There is nutrition, apparel and several other consumer products dedicated to athletes – but bedding has yet to be among the branded products. We’re excited to be able to bring a new offering to the market,” said Spring Air acting CEO, Steve Cumbow. “The Ironman lineup will utilize technology designed to give Ironman athletes and active consumers alike the quick recovery needed to live vibrant and productive lives.”
Cumbow also added that, “Spring Air believes the official Ironman Mattress Series developed by T3 Athletic Recovery Products is a way to tap into a new market focusing on delivering the right type of support and recovery to more athletic consumers, until now, underserved by the bedding market.”
