Amer Sports Corporation will publish its third quarter results on Thursday 29 October at 1:00 pm Finnish time. An English-language telephone conference call for investors and analysts will be held the same day at 3:00 pm Finnish time.
An announcement on Amer Sports’ planned sale of Mavic is unlikely to be made by the end of October. However, it is understood that bidders have approached the company following its 1 September announcement that a ‘divestiture of [Amer Sports’] asset Mavic’ was being considered as a ‘strategic alternative’.
A disposal of Mavic – the French manufacturer of wheel-sets, rims, components and cycle computers – now looks increasingly likely. At least two bidders are understood to have come forward, with rumours that this includes a European operator and a Taiwan based company.
Amer Sports may be tight lipped about Mavic during its October interim report, given the sensitive nature of the bidding process.
