AVIA signs up brothers Eneko And Hector Llanos

Endurance sports racing footwear specialist AVIA has added brothers Eneko and Hector Llanos to its Team AVIA roster of professional triathletes. “The Llanos brothers are truly a welcomed addition to the AVIA family,” said Ed Goldman, Vice President of Marketing for AVIA. “Not only do they fill a strategic niche within our European growth plans, but they also fit the personality profile of our AVIA brand ambassadors perfectly. We are honoured to have Eneko and Hector racing with us and look forward to including them in brand events and appearances throughout the ‘09 season and beyond.”

Spain’s Eneko & Hekor Llanos have been sharing the sport of triathlon, racing around the world, and the dream of winning the Ironman World Championships. In the 2008 season alone the combined efforts of the brothers achieved a second place at Kona, second place at Wildflower, 2x top 10 Ironman European Championship titles, and 2x top 10 XTERRA World Championship titles. This year the Llanos brothers shall race at the AVIA Wildflower Triathlons, Ironman Frankfurt, and the Ironman World Championships.
