RacerMate Inc, manufacturers of CompuTrainer, VeloTron and the popular Real Course Video series, will film a course preview of the latest Ironman bike course, in St George, Utah, on Saturday 23 May.
The hosted ride is co-sponsored by TriHive magazine and First Endurance racing nutrients.
Upon completion of the 62-mile loop, CompuTrainer will create a Real Course Video to allow athletes to see and feel the actual course as they train for the May 2010 event.
"We see this as an exciting, new, innovative and valuable tool in preparation for an Ironman, and in this case, a first time event," said TriHive Editor Tanya Boyer. "The last thing you want on race day is a surprise."
The filmed ride will start at Sand Hollow at 08:00 and follow the actual course whenever possible. Almost 50 riders are currently participating and triathletes are invited to join in. Simply call Tanya at +1 801 319 4311 to reserve a spot, and get ready for a rare training opportunity.
