Giant’s new branded store opened its doors on 1 June in Liverpool, UK, as the Taiwanese biking giant seeks to mirror the success of rival Specialized’s Concept Stores. There are currently five Specialized Concept Stores across the UK.
Giant’s new outlet is branded as ‘Bike Beat Giant Stores’ and is situated ‘right in the heart of Liverpool’s exciting cultural quarter’.
The store is very much focused on delivering a ‘retail experience’. According to Giant, ‘Our store offers something for all, from beginners to keen enthusiasts; we believe cycling is a powerful expression of who you are, we’re confident that we have the correct bike to partner your ride whatever your adventure maybe.’
The store is being run as an independent co-operative and Giant UK is in discussions with other independent partners for further stores in target locations around the UK.
