Joining recent sponsor addition Zipp Speed Weaponry, Scott Bicycles is the new bike sponsor of Normann Stadler and the entire Dresdner Kleinwort Triathlon Team. Stadler is the team captain and mentor of the Dresdner Kleinwort Triathlon Team, which is aiming for a larger international presence in 2009 and beyond.
For Scott Bicycles, the decision to sponsor the Dresdner Kleinwort Triathlon Team was an important one. With help from the Dresdner Kleinwort squad, Scott aims to establish itself as a top brand in triathlon. Scott deemed it strategically important to be represented internationally on the long distance triathlon scene as well as by world class athletes such as those on the Dresdner Kleinwort team.
Scott’s mission is to provide the best-performing equipment to its riders and also to create the most technically advanced products, such as the Scott Plasma2 bike and the Makani RC running shoes. Scott’s Plasma 2 bike. Zipp wheels and Profile Design aerobars will be ridden by the Dresdner Kleinwort Triathlon Team for the season 2009.
Normann ‘the Norminator’ Stadler introduced the new Plasma2 from Scott Bicycles last October at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. He put in a very strong performance on his Scott Plasma2, finishing with the third best bike split (4:29:56).
