Scott goes ergo-logic with new 2010 footwear

Scott’s new 2010 Running Brochure is now online.

Featuring ‘Ergologic Ride’, Scott claims that its 2010 range has a revolutionary midsole shape that increases running performance. According to the company, by converting downward momentum into forward motion, energy loss during the propulsion phase of the stride is effectively reduced. The result is a smooth ride that is very stable at mid-stance for fast efficient running with less stress.

With particular relevance for triathlon and sockless running, Scott’s ‘Ergologic Fit’ is a unique new upper technology that uses a mono sock design in the forefoot. Combined with an overlapping heel and midfoot cradle, this new feature is intended to secure and support the foot.

And finally, incorporating ‘Ergologic Footbeds’ Scott’s 2010 shoes are engineered to stabilise and guide for the most efficient gait cycle for runners with neutral, moderate stability or stability needs.
