Triathlon Canada (TC) is seeking two full-time National Coaches to work within its national team programme. The two coaches will work collaboratively to assist Triathlon Canada in meeting its mission of achieving international high performance excellence, and ultimately producing results at the Junior, U23 and Elite World Championships, and Major Games leading to the Olympic Games in 2012, and 2016.
TC is seeking two proven leaders with the vision and skill-set to produce international success as demonstrated by podium performances at Junior/U23 and/or Elite World Championships and Major Games and the confirmation of a strong, sustainable feeder system through which the next generation of triathlon champions will be fostered.
Responsible for either Triathlon Canada’s Elite Junior and U23 team or Senior Elite National Team, the National Coach (es) will coordinate delivery and support of the effective training and competition plans for Triathlon Canada’s identified National Team athletes.
The two National Coaches will reside in Victoria, at the Triathlon Canada National Triathlon Centre, and will report to the High Performance Director and maintain a close working relationship with the NTC development coach and other provincial and regional triathlon coaches across Canada. Flexibility for the location of the Junior/U23 coach exists.
