Three new members have been appointed to the Triathlon England Management Board with a further reappointment for Dave Bellingham as Director – Team England Portfolio.
Del Granger has been appointed to the position of Independent Director – Finance, Richard Taylor will take up the role of Independent Director – Business Strategy and Jane Wild has been appointed as Director – Membership. They join Regional representatives, Dave Rigby (North), Keith Perry (Midlands) and John Petridis (South), as well as Alan Spelling who heads up the portfolio for Events, Rules and Technical (appointed September 2008).
Triathlon England Chairman, Jem Lawson, said: “Following circulation of the Board opportunities to Triathlon England members, we were encourage by both the number and strengths of those who applied for the various positions. As a result of that process, it is great to announce a full Triathlon England Management Board going forward into the next exciting phase. In welcoming Del, Richard and Jane to the Board, I would like to express my gratitude to Robert Moorhead Lane, Heather Wells and Dave Melen in establishing and consolidating the new governance of Triathlon England. We look forward with renewed enthusiasm to taking the sport forward.”
