Triathlon Plus seeks Coaching Editor

New UK triathlon magazine Triathlon Plus is looking for a Coaching Editor to oversee training content and provide its readers with expert advice on improving their technique.

The Coaching Editor position requires planning, writing, commissioning and editing the Training Zone section in the new magazine. This hands-on role will draw upon triathlon expertise to devise original and compelling ways of presenting training information, as well as organising sessions with readers and professional triathletes. The Coaching Editor will have the chance to review brand new kit, interview triathletes and contribute to other areas of Triathlon Plus magazine.

A passion for triathlon and experience of competing in triathlon events are essential for the role. The successful candidate will have a personal training or sports science qualification, or equivalent experience, as well as an excellent knowledge of the triathlon scene.

Alongside this, the Coaching Editor will need a good command of the English language and preferably some journalism or writing experience. With excellent time management skills, the individual must be organised and able to work under his or her own initiative to meet deadlines. Experience of managing others is also required.

A full UK driving licence is preferable to be able to travel to events and industry visits; apply to: Triathlon Plus, Future Publishing, telephone: +44 (0)1225 442 244.
