Josh Furlow joins Competitor Group as SVP of Operations

Leading US endurance media and event company, the Competitor Group (CGI) has hired Josh Furlow as its Senior Vice President of Operations, according to Bike Retailer and Industry News (BRAIN).

According to the report, Furlow will oversee the planning, operations and logistics for the company’s flagship Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series currently scheduled to operate in 17 cities across the US in 2011.

“Josh comes to CGI with a tremendous background in staging sports and entertainment events,” said Scott Dickey, President of CGI. “The depth of his experience across a multitude of event properties is impressive. We are very excited about Josh joining the organisation and look forward to his contributions as we continue to expand our flagship Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.”
