Newton Running, the leading manufacturer of natural running shoes, last week announced its sponsorship of the US Air Force marathon team.
Team coach Lieutenant Colonel Dr Mark Cucuzzella, a top masters marathoner and an expert on biomechanics, injury prevention and running form, helped to bring about the partnership with Newton Running.
“I’ve been wearing Newtons for several years now and the shoes have helped me to run faster with fewer injuries,” said Cucuzzella. “I wanted my athletes to experience the same benefits and Newton was happy to support members of the Armed Forces.”
