Rolling out in January 2011, Profile Design is extending its remit beyond tri bars, accessories and wetsuits with new wheels – the Altair and Armada models.
Unveiled at EUROBIKE, there are 9 new wheel sets in total in the range – six of which are carbon fibre. Profile Design is particularly targeting the new wheels at Ironman and Ironman 70.3 cyclists.
The carbon fibre Altair range is available in 52mm and 80mm depths. In addition, there are three rim types as well: tubular, semi carbon (standard clincher) and full carbon (carbon clincher).
The aluminum based Aramada comes in 24, 30 and 38 mm depths as a standard clincher.
Both wheels have sealed cartridge bearings, and were fully developed by Profile Design.
