The area around Singapore’s East Coast Park will provide the venue for another test of athletic endurance in April.
Top competitors from around the world are taking part in the OSIM Singapore Triathlon, which is sanctioned by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) and presented by the Triathlon Association of Singapore.
The standard triathlon takes place on Sunday 11 April, but athletes using hotels in Singapore who favour a less gruelling challenge can try the sprint category on 10 April.
All registered participants are required to attend the Race Expo on 7-8 April, when they will receive a race kit and goodie bag.
Singapore is a hub of triathlon activity at this time of year, with the Ironman 70.3 event due to take place on 23 March 2010.
