With full details coming soon, the inaugural Marco Polo Challenge takes place in the medieval town of Korčula in Croatia. The sprint distance triathlon is open to pro and amateur triathletes, amateur endurance/adventure racers, teams of all ages and local schools.
Set on the Adriatic Sea, the island of Korčula, located off the coast of Dubrovnik in the country’s southern tip, is to host the event on 30 April 2011.
The event is organised by Korčula Town, Dimitri Palace hotel and is being run in association with local tri club Triathlon Klub Split.
