After a successful first edition of Challenge Vichy, the date of the second edition has now been set for 19 August 2012. In order to make this event even more enjoyable and unforgettable to both triathletes and spectators, ‘novelties and improvements’ will be included in the programme in the coming months and will be detailed on the Challenge Vichy website.
The first piece of news is the launching of the Half Vichy, which will give some triathletes an opportunity to test their performances on a half iron distance event before joining the full distance in 2013.
The Challenge Half Vichy will be taking place on the same date as Challenge Vichy, with a start at 08:00 CET, one hour after the start of the main full distance Challenge Vichy event. A cut-off time of 7 hours (arrival due before 15:00) will be implemented on the finish line.
For registrations before 17 October 2011, for Challenge Vichy, the event organisers are offering a reduced fee of €300 (€20 less than in 2011) including a free cancellation insurance policy. For registrations before 17 October, for the Half Vichy, reduced fees start from €130, also including a free cancellation insurance policy.
