110% Play Harder sponsors new triathlon team

110% Play Harder, an innovative line of compression + ice gear, introduced its elite triathlon team – Team 110 TRI HRDR (ONE-TEN TRI HARDER) – at Trek Bicycles of Jacksonville, Florida, in conjunction with the Hammerhead Triathlon Club meeting on Wednesday 2 March 2011.

“We could not be more excited to share our passion for triathlon with the local Jacksonville community. We are partnering with influential sponsors and athletes who strive for the extra 10% in all they do, and we can’t wait to see the great results associated with this dynamic team,” said David Green, CEO of 110% Play Harder.

According to the company, ‘110% represents the next step forward in training and recovery gear with a unique pocket architecture that fuses the already important benefits of compression with the elemental power of ice. 110% is the only compression gear to put ice right inside. It is simple, mobile, and effective.’

The 110 TRI HRDR team will make its race debut at the St Anthony’s Triathlon on 1 May 2011 in St Petersburg, Florida. Due to the response from athletes to the elite team, a 110 TRI HRDR club team has been formed as well.

In conjunction with 110%, the team is sponsored by Jacksonville Running Company, Velocity Multisport Coaching, Trek Bicycles Store of Jacksonville, Native Sun and Montoya Benefits Group.

The elite team is composed of the following 15 triathletes: Sean Crichton, Billy Hart, Drew Heidemann, Tony Maniatis, Kerry Mowlam, Kevin Neal, Don Packard, Steve Petitt, Eric Lashway, JC Pinto, Marni Sumbal, Rachel Stanley, Libby Bergman, Katrine Strickland and Skye Johnson.
