For the 2012 season Campagnolo is rolling out an extensive set of high-profile wheels by introducing the brand-new multi-material Bullet range.
Bullet delivers high-profile carbon wheels to the bike consumer, with an aluminium breaking track. The range of alu/carbon Bullet wheels was created to be a benchmark for being lightweight, aerodynamic, high performance, practical and responsive.
There are two main types of wheels in the range – Bullet and Bullet Ultra. Bullet Ultra will be available in 3 different heights: 50mm, 80mm or the ‘extreme’ 105mm. And there’s more: for each Bullet Ultra wheel height, consumers can choose between two different profiles (clincher or the exclusive 2-Way Fit system) and three types of ball bearings (Standard, USB and the innovative CULT technology).
With its varying height and profile options, Bullet Ultra will be available in two colours, Bright Label and Dark Label.
The Bullet wheels come with less options that the Bullet Ultra and will be instead available in two heights (50mm and 80mm) in one colour with two bearing options, standard or USB.
Bullet 50mm will also be available in the CX version dedicated to the cyclocross world with a special double crankset that protects the ball bearings from water and mud, allowing for consistent performance over time.
