The Forhans Triathlon team, which is raising the profile of multisport in Italy, has added Swiss long distance triathlete Nicolas Beyeler to its ranks.
Forhans Triathlon team President Gianluca Calfapietra, who originally presented the 2011 Forhans Triathlon Team back in January, believes the new addition will raise the team’s profile, attract more sponsors and boost its already strong start to the multisport season.
The Forhans Triathlon team has registered Beyeler for the 2011 to 2012 season. Born in 1975, Beyeler began with Ironman racing in 2005. In 2010 at Ironman Austria in Klagenfurt he earned himself 11th position overall.
“I noticed the quality of this athlete at the Barberino del Mugello triathlon,” said Fabio Giannini, Team Manager of the Forhans Team, who was instrumental in recruiting Beyeler. “He is a formidable athlete.”
