The 2011 Amica 19.7 Triathlon Series has announced that FuelBelt, the ‘world leader in hydration belts and one of the fastest growing endurance sports companies’, has been named the Presenting Sponsor of the 2011 Amica 19.7 Newport event. Entering its second year, the Amica 19.7 Newport will be held on Saturday 24 September, in Newport, Rhode Island.

FuelBelt was founded in 1997 by Malik, a seven-time Ironman World Championship participant, and the company continues to evolve to serve the needs of runners, cyclists and competitive triathletes, such as Ironman World Champions Chris McCormack, Craig Alexander and Chrissie Wellington.
FuelBelt will award a prize to each male and female age group winner at the Amica 19.7 Newport.
Produced by Eident Sports Marketing, the Amica 19.7 Newport Sprint Triathlon is part of the 2011 Amica 19.7 Triathlon Series, a sprint distance series of events held throughout the US. It is the eighth stop of Amica’s 10-event series, which culminates in Phoenix, Arizona, in November.
