Ridley’s ‘Stolen bikes’ tab on Facebook

Belgian road, cyclocross and triathlon bike brand Ridley Bikes, is trying to make life easier for its consumers with a new Facebook initiative. The brand has added a ‘Stolen bikes’ tab on its Facebook page to help try and track down Ridley bikes when they are stolen.

Ridley Bike owners simply add the serial number of a stolen Ridley bike on the Facebook page. The serial number will then be sent to all Ridley dealers, so they can recognize it as stolen if the bike shows up in a Ridley bike shop.

As the company points out, ‘We hope that this will help our customers to retrieve their highly valued bike.’
