ROTOR seeks International Marketing Manager

ROTOR Bike Components – the Spanish cycling component specialist and developer of products such as Q-Rings oval chainrings and 3D cranks – is on the hunt for a full time International Marketing Manager. To ‘fuel growth of the brand’, the new International Marketing Manager must be capable of effectively coordinating with ROTOR’s global distribution network and international press.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Market Development Manager. A self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-focused applicant with a proven track record of delivering results will qualify for this roll.

ROTOR’s International Marketing Manager will become the voice of the company to the cycling world, spotlighting future growth opportunities. The job is located in Madrid, Spain; and applicants must have the right to reside in the EU.

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  • A relevant degree or professional training
  • Natural, strong communication skills
  • At least 5 years’ experience in sport or consumer product marketing
  • Familiarity with the cycling industry
  • An understanding of modern (social media, web) and classic (print, audio visual) media and their promotional functions
  • An interest in, familiarity with and understanding of cycling competition
  • The ability to structure and manage projects and advertising plans
  • The willingness to travel to international trade shows
  • The ability to communicate with consumers and the press in an engaging manner through written, audio visual and face to face communication
  • A learning attitude with a can-do, team-working approach to challenges
  • Fluent English with a high level of spoken and written Spanish
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and logistical/sales software

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, monitor and budget ROTOR’s global marketing plan
  • Plan international trade shows and coordinate the shipping and provision of products and promotional materials
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to manage and create effective, goal oriented marketing campaigns
  • Supply ROTOR’s distribution customers with relevant and effective marketing support to help them achieve their commercial goals
  • Manage and create content for web, print and other promotional media
  • Manage and execute official communications for the ROTOR brand
  • Maintain a clear overview of promotional activities in a fast-paced, swiftly moving marketplace
  • Analyze and report on the success of the projects under the employee’s control
