Speedo, the leading global swim brand, and a growing force in the triathlon market, has launched an upgraded version of its free Speedo TriathELITE triathlon dedicated i-app.
The Speedo TriathELITE app was first launched in 2010 and can be downloaded at the Apple i-Tunes store.
Created in conjunction with Tri247.com, the UK’s number one triathlete web destination, the Speedo TriathELITE app brings together all the latest news, events/results, training tips and Speedo product information.
In an easy to navigate application, the Speedo TriathELITE app is broken into five major sections: News, Events/Results, Training, Products and Store locator.
News
Powered by Tri247.com, the news section delivers all the latest stories, displaying the 50 most current articles and allowing users to search for articles straight from the app.
Events/Results
The events section delivers triathlon event news and results, including the last 50 events and results. Here, triathletes and tri fans have the option to search for specific events and results, and can also view events via name, post code, distance, date and race type criteria.
Training
Providing a home for all manner of training tips, broken down into key areas of swim, bike, run and nutrition – the training section is packed full of useful articles from Tri247.com. This offers triathletes a great source of information to improve their training regimes.
Products
Here users can find out product information on the new 2011 Speedo TriathELITE range and can link through to purchase products from the range. The Speedo tri range itself includes: wetsuits, tri suits, goggles, swim suits, training aids and accessories.
Store locator
As well as this, there is also a handy store locator, which maps current location and finds the closest store to you.
