Suunto Quest: on track, even when running off-track

The new Suunto Quest sports performance watch is designed to be taken when ‘out on the road, up the mountain, or on your bike to get more from your outdoor adventures.’ Suunto Quest packs a host of essential training tools – including real-time heart-rate monitoring, interval timers, and a stopwatch – into a ‘stylish and comfortable super-lightweight design’.

Available in orange or black, Suunto Quest also comes with Suunto Movestick Mini for easy training data transfer and Suunto Dual Comfort Belt for accurate heart rate measurement.

The customizable display allows athletes to stay focused and get only the training data that is wanted at a glance. For smarter, safer training on foot, athletes can clip on the optional Suunto Foot Pod Mini for instant speed, distance and running cadence measurement – ideal for interval training or when running on uneven terrain.

According to Suunto, when athletes pull off their shoes and switch on a laptop, it’s easy to transfer training data wirelessly with the included Suunto Movestick Mini for in-depth training analysis on Movescount.com – including detailed heart rate and speed graphs.

Suunto Quest will be available at selected retailers from autumn/fall 2011 with pricing to be confirmed shortly.
