National governing body Triathlon Ireland has confirmed a partnership with TrainingPeaks, the leading provider of online training software. The agreement will see Triathlon Ireland’s elite athletes, coaches and junior squad using TrainingPeaks’ advanced online training software to gain maximum advantage for the 2012 season.
Lead Cycling Coach Tommy Evans commented “I have been using this software with [elite triathletes] Aileen [Morrison] and Gavin [Noble] for the last year to great effect. As a coach it’s important to get detail on how exactly my athletes are training and reacting to sessions. TrainingPeaks provides me with a full breakdown of all the information I need.”
TrainingPeaks is also providing a 20% discount on its Premium Athlete Edition subscriptions to all Triathlon Ireland (TI) members and 20% off the monthly price of its Ultimate Basic Client account for Level 1 and 2 TI coaches.
TI members can simply create a TrainingPeaks account and use the ‘TriIreland2012’ code for the 20% discount.
TI accredited coaches can set up a free trial account at TrainingPeaks and then inquire with their TrainingPeaks account manager about the availability of the discount.
