TrainingPeaks has got on board with a new sponsorship of the fast-evolving USA Pro Cycling Challenge, taking place in Colorado, on 22-28 August 2011. This marks the first official event sponsorship for TrainingPeaks, the training software used by endurance coaches, athletes, pro cyclists and Olympians worldwide.

The full 2011 Tour de France podium, winner Cadel Evans, Andy Schleck and Frank Schleck are set to compete along with Olympians, World Champions and Tour de France competitors as they endure a very challenging route – cresting at over 12,000 feet twice in one day.
Fans worldwide who will not be able to attend the race will have access to the race like never before with one of the most advanced, interactive online, smartphone and broadcast television experiences presented to date in professional cycling. Each day, race data from select riders in the race will be analyzed and made available for public viewing using the TrainingPeaks.com interactive file viewer. Alternatively, fans can download the day’s race data to view and analyse it using TrainingPeaks desktop-based software, WKO+.
TrainingPeaks, developed by Peaksware LLC, is the official training software for the UnitedHeathCare Pro Cycling Team and Saxo Bank-SunGard. Team athletes and staff utilise TrainingPeaks to monitor, analyse and plan each rider’s training program. Both teams will also be competing in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge.
