Xtra Mile Events – recently awarded the 220 Triathlon Race of the Year (entry less than 500) for its increasingly popular Llandudno Sea Triathlon in Wales – has a new partnership with Royles, one of the UK’s leading triathlon retailers.
Under the new partnership, Xtra Mile Events’ participants will be able to visit a Royles exhibition stand at events, where knowledgeable Royles staff will be on hand to tell consumers about the products and services on offer.
Royles will also be supporting events with bike mechanical support; and contributing prizes for the winners at all races.
In the lead-up to events, Xtra Mile Events entrants will also be able to benefit from Royles’ expertise, through access to Royles Training Plans, which guide athletes through the training necessary to reach their fitness event goals.
Reaffirming the partnership between the event organiser and retailer, Xtra Mile Events accompanied Royles at its stand at the recent 2011 TCR (Triathlon, Cycling and Running) Show.
Established in 1979, Royles is one of the largest independent multisport retailers in the UK, specialising in cycling, running, swimming and triathlon.
In December 2010, Royles officially opened its Triathlon Run Swim Store, in Wilmslow, Cheshire – the latest of the company’s initiatives for connecting with multisport consumers in the UK. The new store also offers gait analysis and a state-of-the-art Speedo Elite Endless Pool (one of only 3 in the world).
Through its nearby bike workshop, Royles also provide a comprehensive bike repair and servicing facility, operated by highly experienced and qualified mechanics.
