Star Events has relaunched its new Star Travel division offering accommodation packages to the full range of TriStar, GranFondo and StarRun events. Participants, friends, family and spectators can now benefit from special deals at Star Events destinations. Star Travel will organize a range of travel options, including, but not limited to:
- Accommodation in preselected hotels
- Private apartments and villas all in walking distance from the start and finish line
- ‘Insider information’ on training facilities
- Cozy restaurants, and details of attractive sites worth seeing
Star Events initially unveiled Star Travel back in December 2010, when travel packages were made available for purchase in tandem with TriStar’s existing registration process.
Star Travel took on a new lease of life when Star Events confirmed that Sports Tours International, a leading multisport tour operator based in the UK, was the Official Travel Partner for Star Events. The appointment as Official Travel Partner means Sports Tours International will be able to offer guaranteed entries to a number of the TriStar, GranFondo World and StarRun events.

The main objective of Star Travel and its partners will be to deliver tailored travel and hassle-free solutions from an experienced team that understands the unique requirements such as round-trip transportation to a comfortable accommodation, secure bike storage, an early breakfast on race day, hints for easy reach to training facilities and much more.
Due to the successful partnership with Hotel Radisson Blue in Cannes, Star Events has extended a partnership with the Hotel Majestic also in Cannes and is happy to announce it as an official race hotel of the TriStar Cannes event. Meanwhile, premium accommodation can be found at Hôtel Majestic Barrière – another official hotel for TriStar Cannes, which according to the event organisers combines sport with luxury, elegance and charm.
