Triathlon Show 2012 ready to roll…

The 10th edition of the Triathlon Show (formerly the TCR Show) is taking place this coming weekend on 2-4 March 2012 at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey. The UK’s leading multisport show, now targeted specifically to the triathlete, attracts amateur, pro and celebrity triathletes en masse.

Over 150 exhibitors displaying a full range of products and services for the triathlete will be on stand over the weekend. The event organisers have announced a comprehensive seminar and workshop program. All are free, included in the cost of show entry.

The 220 Triathlon Live! Theatre:
The Triathlon Show welcomes back Ironman legend Chrissie Wellington in the Q&A sessions on both Saturday and Sunday. Top 220 Triathlon mag contributors including Joe Beer, Andy Bullock, Andy Blow, Steve Trew and Mark Kleanthous will be presenting a range of topics to help the 2012 tri season kick off to a flying start! >>> full program

Gatorade G Series Theatre – just announced!
The G SERIES PRO THEATRE will see presenters including: Jack Maitland of theTriathlonCoach.com, coach to individual and team world champions, Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee; Marc Jenkins, coach to 2011 ITU World Champion Helen Jenkins; Nigel Mitchell, Head of Nutrition at Team Sky and British Cycling; and many more. >>> full program

Free Pedaling Analysis Sessions
Wattbike will be offering a free 15 minute pedal technique analysis session to all Triathlon Show 2012 visitors. Interested riders should visit www.wattbike.com/uk/wattbike/tri-show to book a slot.

The Zoggs SwimZone
Top coaches and athletes will be providing demonstrations of swim technique and stroke efficiency. Swim coach Rick Kiddle will be running sessions each afternoon in the show’s two Endless Pools.

Performance Testing and Advice
At the Triathlon Show, Surrey Human Performance Institute will be offering VO2max, anaerobic threshold, maximal aerobic power, body composition, nutrition, strength & conditioning and yoga. thetrilife.com Prehab, Core and Stretch Workshops – Sunday 4 March
Designed by thetrilife Physio Mike Redshaw to provide a concise and invaluable exercise routine, the workshops will develop core strength and flexibility for the prevention of common triathlon injuries and enhancement of triathlon performance across all races distances. Visitors should simply wear loose comfortable clothing and turn up on Sunday near the SwimZone at 10:00, 12:15 or 14:30.

Advance show tickets are available through the Triathlon Show 2012 website saving 25% on the door price of £12. Tickets are valid for the whole weekend and under 16s go free. There’s free car and secure cycle parking and a free shuttle bus from Esher Station (about 25 minutes from London Waterloo).
