The relationship between TriStar and Zoot Sports is building momentum in 2012. A total of seven TriStar events will have Zoot Sports as the exclusive apparel and shoe partner this season: Mallorca, Salzkammergut, Worms-Germany, Deauville, Lyon, Estonia and Monaco.
The cooperation between the apparel and shoe specialist and the expanding TriStar race series is expected to broaden in the future. TriStar and Zoot formed an agreement in 2011, and the two companies are now working towards a comprehensive multi-year partnership.
“The cooperation between Zoot and TriStar is an expression of our commitment to focus on successful long-term partnerships,” said Wolfgang Helmberger, Zoot Marketing Manager Europe. “This partnership is a great alliance between a series of young and dynamic triathlon events on the one hand, and an equally dynamic and innovative apparel and footwear brand on the other hand. We at Zoot are looking forward to working with TriStar in order to shape the future of the triathlon sport.”
The agreement also provides for a full range of event equipment including clothing for athletes, volunteers and the organizing team, with high quality products specifically designed for triathletes and for the TriStar Series, ‘the fun format of triathlon’.
“We are very proud to move forward for this second year hand in hand with Zoot as an official partner. Zoot Sport is synonymous with triathlon, high quality products developed in the same way as we organize sport events. It’s our second year of partnering, and we are committed to keep it for many years,” said Laurent Gauthier, President of Star Production SARL.
Zoot is focused on providing the athlete with the ultimate in performance apparel, ‘wetzoots’, footwear and accessories. For 25 years, the company has been pioneering innovative product solutions that cover the athlete from start to finish and head to toe. Zoot continues to draw on its history in the sport and its athletes to deliver a comprehensive, technologically-advanced and complete multisport product line.
The TriStar label is owned by Star Events, the Monaco based company specializing in organizing high quality sports events that are focused on fun, social responsibility and environmental protection.
The TriStar series has now grown to 27 races in 14 destinations in less than three years: Nevis (St.Kitts and Nevis), Mallorca and Madrid (Spain), Lyon, Deauville and Cannes (France), Split (Croatia), Worms-Germany (Germany), Salzkammergut and Kufstein (Austria), Milton Keynes (United Kingdom), Estonia-Otepää (Estonia), Minnesota (USA) and Monaco (Monaco).
