Adam Campbell puts best foot forward with Injinji

Injinji, innovator of the patented Performance Toesock has welcomed trail runner Adam Campbell to Team Injinji’s family of elite athletes.

A practicing attorney, 33-year old Campbell’s recent success in the ultra-running scene, dedication to the sport and commitment to Injinji Performance Toesocks made him an ideal ambassador for Injinji, whose roots are grounded in the running community. (Campbell’s wife Lauren is a professional triathlete and was a member of the Canadian Olympic Team in 2008.)

“Adam Campbell is an incredibly talented runner and I’m thrilled he has joined our elite team of athletes,” said Russell Nadel, SVP Operations/GM. “Injinji has secured a serious reputation among runners worldwide and ambassadors such as Adam help drive our brand and product benefits to the next level.”

Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Campbell’s resume includes 2011 victories at the Canadian 50-Mile Trail Championships, a second place finish at the Courmayer-Compex-Chamonix 98K race in France, and a third at the North Face Endurance Challenge 50-mile in San Francisco. In 2012, Campbell notched a win at the Chuckanut 50K.

Campbell will be competing at the Ultra Trail Mount Fuji in Japan this weekend – the largest-scale trail run in Asia. In addition to Injinji, Campbell’s sponsors include Salomon, Arcteryx, Cliff, Ryders and Suunto.

Launched in 1999, Injinji is the innovator of the patented ‘Original Performance Toesock’ for runners and active outdoor enthusiasts. Injinji, pronounced (In-jin-gee), ‘to reach one’s peak of performance’, is dedicated to helping athletes attain their personal best. The product offering is a five-toe-sleeve designed, seamless, anti-friction sock that allows the foot to perform naturally and efficiently inside any shoe.
