Tri apparel and accessories specialist Louis Garneau has announced the apparel sponsorship of current and 5x Ironman World Champion, Craig Alexander. Alexander won the 2008, 2009, and 2011 Ironman World Championships and currently holds the record for the fastest World Championship Course Record. He is also the 2006 and 2011 Ironman 70.3 World Champion.

Alexander’s kit, as worn at the 2011 Ironman World Championships in Kona, was part of the Louis Garneau Custom Elite Collection that features the Lazerband leg cuff that is laser cut and seamless to reduce wind resistance, offers a second-skin feel, and provides a full range of motion.
According to the company, the product’s dimpled mesh construction of the Tritek fabric offers the airflow and moisture evaporation needed to handle the heat, sweat and conditions of the Kona field. The Elite Lazer Tek kit is also available for teams and clubs in various options.
