In an effort to recognize those individuals who best fuelled the multisport lifestyle during the 2012 season, USA Triathlon (USAT) is pleased to announce that nominations are open for the second annual USA Triathlon Multisport Awards.
All multisport supporters are encouraged to nominate friends, family and fellow competitors for these prestigious national US honours. Nominations are being accepted through to 31 December in the following six award categories:
- Volunteer of the Year Award
- Jeff Jewell Spirit Award
- Military Sport Award
- Most Inspirational Comeback Award
- Spirit of Multisport Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Full details on the criteria for each award and nomination instructions are online.
Once the nomination period closes, USA Triathlon’s Age Group Awards Subcommittee will review all nominations and select the winners and honourable mentions for each Multisport Award.
Award winners will be announced in USA Triathlon’s Multisport Zone e-newsletter in February 2013.
