Revolution3 Triathlon has confirmed that Reynolds Cycling, makers of high quality, carbon fibre wheels, has joined as a sponsor for the 2012 season. Reynolds Cycling has been a leading name in the cycling community for over a century. The company produces wheels for road racing, time trial, cyclocross, mountain bike and triathlon.
A thorough understanding of carbon fibre and a dedication to innovation, new product development and real world testing have gained Reynolds a reputation for producing fast wheels designed with athletes in mind.
Rev3 is known as a producer of quality, family-friendly events that provide an excellent race experience for athletes. With ten races and counting, Rev3 has quickly expanded its race offerings across the US and all the way to Costa Rica. Rev3 race weekends include a wide variety of activities for spouses, kids and support crew to have fun, and a host of events surround the race weekend, including family treasure hunts, kid’s races and more.
Reynolds Sixty Six and Eighty One wheels, which utilize Reynolds’ proprietary high modulus carbon and refined resin system, will be available for athletes to rent on race weekends for US$150. The wheels can be reserved in advance by emailing info[at]rev3tri.com.
“Reynolds has an amazing product and we’re so excited to see our athletes utilizing their wheels on race day,” said Eric Opdyke, Race Director for Rev3. “We’re proud to partner with such a strong name in triathlon.”
Revolution 3 Triathlon produces races for Olympic, 70.3 and 140.6 triathlon distances, plus adventure and kids races, and has grown to include events on an international scale. Recently, Rev3 has also started to give back to the community, through a partnership with the Ulman Cancer Fund.
