The China National Swim Team officially inked a sponsorship contract earlier this week that sees the whole team receiving Rocket Science Sports’ new championship swimsuits: the FINA approved FU2 Racers for use at the London 2012 Olympics. With the opening ceremony for London 2012 looming, the team was happy to receive their suits on time for departure to the UK.
“What most impressed them through our talks together was the level of technology and thinking that went into the suits. We demonstrated some of that technology to them in Beijing earlier in June and the talks just progressed from there,” said Stuart Chan, Global Marketing Director at Rocket Science Sports. “This is very positive news for us as we continue our expansion into the China market. We’re all crossing our fingers for some podium finishes as well.”
The deal also includes post-Olympics team support and discount packages for team members as the two organisations continue their partnership.
