Specialist compression apparel company SLS3, has just announced its support for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS). Going forwards, US$1 will be donated to Sea Shepherd for every SLS3 product that is sold.
Sea Shepherd is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization that uses direct action tactics to protect sea life. In 2008, Animal Planet began filming the weekly series Whale Wars based on the group’s encounters with the Japanese whaling fleet in the Southern Ocean.
“I watched the show a couple of years ago for the first time and was hooked ever since” said Sebastian Linke, owner of SLS3. “In addition to building innovative products that reduce environmental impact, we take our social responsibility mission very seriously. We feel honored to be giving back to those who defend what is so precious to us all.”
