Alpha Warrior, ‘a first of its kind event featuring 30+ extreme obstacles and 16 insane structures’, is partnering with the Challenged Athletes Foundation’s (CAF) Operation Rebound program as the beneficiary for its San Diego event.
Boasting ‘No mud. No miles. No mercy.’, the event will be held at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, on 15-16 June and will offer a ‘Challenged Athlete’ start wave on Saturday 15 June.
CAF is a world leader in helping individuals with physical challenges get involved, and stay involved, in sports. The Operation Rebound program is the premier sports and fitness program for American military personnel, veterans and first responders with permanent physical disabilities. It provides opportunities to pursue active, athletic lifestyles by offering access to funding for equipment and training, competition expenses, Military Medical Center Physical Training (MMCPT) and sports clinics.
Both Alpha Warrior and CAF consider the partnership an opportunity to benefit and grow awareness for the military heroes and wounded warriors that serve the US. The all-obstacle format is new and exciting, but also familiar territory to the large military community that resides in San Diego county.
