Human Race, the UK’s largest and most diverse mass-participation sports events company, is rewarding entrants to the Windsor Triathlon and Garmin Eton SuperSprints with a special limited-time offer.
Those who enter both the Windsor Triathlon and Garmin Eton SuperSprints by the end of September 2013 will be rewarded with 50% off the entry fee to the Windsor Swim on 8 June 2014 or the Open Water Swim Seminar on 17 May 2014, providing entrants with an ideal Windsor Triathlon preparation package.
The Windsor Triathlon has been named the British Triathlon Federation’s ‘Event of the Year’ a remarkable seven times and next season’s event, taking place on 15 June 2014, is set to be the biggest and best ever. The Windsor Triathlon attracts leading triathletes, with the likes of Tom and David Bishop, Stuart Hayes, Richard Stannard, Emma Pallant, India Lee, Emma Holt and Emily McLoughlin competing last year, as well as thousands of eager age groupers; and with places usually selling out in a couple of days, participants are encouraged to enter quickly.
Windsor Castle and the historic town create a stunning backdrop to the triathlon; and with sprint (750m swim, 30K bike, 5K run) and Olympic (1.5K swim, 42K bike, 10K run) distances to choose from, individually or in a team relay, the event is suitable to all abilities. The event village, facilities and a race route lined with thousands of cheering local residents, friends and family make the Windsor Triathlon a must-do for any triathlon enthusiast.
Split over two days, 17th and 18th May 2014, the Garmin Eton SuperSprints are seen as an ideal preparation for the Windsor Triathlon exactly a month before the big televised race. Held at Dorney Lake, competitors race over 400m in the clear and clean waters of the rowing lake, cover 21.2K on the closed road bike route and finish with a final 5kK on flat tarmac paths.
Part of Human Race’s Open Water Swim Series, both the seminar and Windsor Swim are great opportunities to prepare for the Windsor Triathlon. Held at the safe and clean Dorney Lake and led by the experienced coaches at RG Active, the seminar will provide swimmers with practical and theoretical advice and coaching according to their ability.
The Windsor Swim is for participants wanting to hone their open water swimming technique and as the route follows a similar one to the swim leg of the triathlon, the Windsor Swim is ideal preparation just one week from the Windsor Triathlon.
