New 220triathlon.com website ‘powers out of transition’

Immediate Media, the company behind leading UK triathlon mag 220 Triathlon, has relaunched the 220triathlon.com website. The site features ‘a fresh new look and a number of key improvements’.

The new site has a simplified navigation, more content for beginners wishing to enter their first triathlon, and an increased focus on all the latest news from the world of tri.

Other improvements include a new mobile-friendly version of the site for those readers who are out and about, and improved integration with 220’s popular myTri training section.

One key difference that regular site users need to know is that they will now be logging in with the email address previously registered with, rather than their username (though the password remains the same as before).

Immediate Media has also highlighted that The Triathlon Show will return to Sandown Park in Surrey early next year ‘with an expanded exhibition, more workshops, speakers and experts than ever before, and a host of new and interactive features.’

Over 7,000 visitors are expected over the weekend of Friday 28 February to Sunday 2 March 2014. Among the show highlights are seminars and workshops from top coaches and athletes, a swim zone, a 10K run, an indoor cycling competition and over 140 top brands and retailer exhibitors.

The Triathlon Show was acquired by Immediate Media in March this year. Under its new ownership Immediate notes that the 2014 show ‘will be the biggest yet’ with 40% more floor space earmarked.
