TV eye
For those who missed out on the action of this year’s event, viewers can catch coverage of the 2013 Toshiba Windsor Triathlon on Channel 4, this coming Sunday 30 June at 07:05; or catch up at 08:05 on Channel 4 +1. Produced by Dream Team TV, and presented by Rob Walker, this forthcoming footage on mainstream UK TV continues to bolster triathlon’s position in the hearts and minds of the UK public.
Windsor is the UK’s oldest major triathlon and takes place in the shadow of the world-famous landmarks of Windsor Castle and Eton College. The world famous event starts with a swim in the River Thames, before taking to the roads of Berkshire. The event, which has been running since 1990, sees a mix of elite and amateur athletes compete.
Nick Rusling, CEO of Human Race said “Well done to everyone who competed in the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon 2013. The calibre of athletes in both the elite and age group race was just fantastic and Windsor is a stunning location for the race. We look forward to welcoming back plenty more triathletes for 2014.”
