Project Manager position at Just Racing UK

With continued growth, the team at Just Racing, the organiser behind the UK’s Challenge Henley event amongst others, is ‘branching out into new markets.’ The company is therefore looking for a self-driven, highly motivated individual, who has the following attributes:

  • Developing, leading and motivating partnership based projects
  • Project management, preferably sports events.
  • Demonstrate leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

The successful applicant should have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of delivering events
  • Sports event participation expereince
  • A key understanding of a variety of social media platforms and their application
  • An outgoing personality, attention to detail and the ability to multitask is essential

Just Racing (UK) was formed in 2000 as a UK sports event management company, with a particular focus on triathlons. Throughout the last 11 years the team has continued to develop its portfolio of triathlon and duathlon events. In 2014,  the company will deliver a range of triathlon events to suit every level, from new triathlon beginners looking for their first time triathlon experience, through to experienced competitors.

The events line-up includes: a multi-terrain series of running events; pool based triathlon events; open water triathlons; long distance, sprint and middle distance triathlons; cycle events including 100 km cyclosportives; UK duathlons; European qualifying events; and British Grand Prix events.

2014 will also see the introduction of a new half-marathon event at Stanford Hall plus the third successive year of Challenge Henley and Henley Half triathlon.

Just Racing is looking for somebody to work 3 to 5 days per week.
