In order to improve the performances of Chinese triathletes across the board and to secure strong results at international races, the China Triathlon National Team is looking to employ a High Performance Head Coach.
Position: Head Coach of China Triathlon National Team
Job description:
- To plan high-performance development programs for the Chinese National Team
- To make detailed annual working targets, training and competition plans
- To coach national team athletes at a high-level and with scientific means
- To be involved in the athlete selection for major races
- To assist in the development of young athletes
- To assist in the development of Chinese triathlon coaches
Entry qualification:
- Be prepared for a long-term coaching position in China, acknowledging and respecting local customs
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-performance triathlon coaching
- Be capable of independently making training plans across all disciplines: swimming, cycling, running, etc.
- A bachelor of sports degree or equivalent
- Holding triathlon coaching certificates issued by ITU or the respective national federation(s)
