TriDot Triathlon Training Systems signs Generation UCAN as strategic partner

Multisport coaching specialist TriDot Systems, a provider of triathlon training and coaching services, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with sports nutrition specialist Generation UCAN, which offers sports nutrition to elite and competitive amateur athletes.

Over the past six months, ‘TriDot has brought on hundreds of new athletes, making it one of the largest and the fastest growing coaching organizations in the United States.’ Sports nutrition is of critical concern to its athletes. Generation UCAN’s healthy, nutritious drink mix is seen to provide ‘steady energy without the harmful effects of caffeine and gluten products.’

“Our organization is very pleased to be partnering with UCAN,” said Jeff Booher, Founder of TriDot. “Our coaches and athletes have had great success with UCAN in the past. It just makes sense to work more closely with them. We recommend (urge) all of our athletes to use UCAN because it simply helps them perform better and improve their body composition. It’s a game changer.”

Booher continued, “The TriDot System delivers increased performance gains per hour while reducing injury risk… UCAN does the same. It delivers long-lasting energy allowing our athletes to burn more fat and it virtually eliminates GI distress. We’re a perfect training-nutrition match.”

“We are excited to partner with the TriDot Systems,” added Seth Bronheim, Generation UCAN’s Director of Nutrition and Fitness. “We are proud to sponsor them because they match our company’s values. They take a smart, efficient and healthy approach to training, which aligns directly with Generation UCAN’s mission to provide smart, efficient and healthy sports nutrition for triathletes. We are excited to fuel the triathletes of TriDot in a unique and revolutionary way!”

The two organizations conducted a joint webinar on 11 February 2013 to try and help the triathlon community better understand the science and application of optimal fuelling for triathlon training and racing.

The Sports Nutrition Webinar replay is available at tridot.com/nutrition-webinar/.

Generation UCAN sports nutrition is powered by a unique, slow-burning carbohydrate called SuperStarch. UCAN’s drink mix provides steady energy, allows athletes to burn more fat for fuel during workouts, and helps athletes recover efficiently when compared to sugary sports drinks or a high carbohydrate meal.

UCAN contains no added sugars, no caffeine, and is gluten-free. SuperStarch was originally designed to help children who suffer from serious energy imbalances and now fuels some of the top athletes in the world – ranging from professional triathletes, to Olympic runners, to everyday athletes striving for fitness.

The TriDot System is ‘a one-of-a-kind, patents-pending triathlon training and racing system developed based on extensive and on-going primary research since 2004.’ TriDot System’s Intelligent Design Process (IDP) is a data-driven process that produces optimized training programs built for each athlete that ‘deliver maximum results per training hour invested’. Serving beginners to professionals, the TriDot System aims to take the guesswork out of triathlon training and racing.
