USPro Tri riding high with ENVE wheels in 2014

USPro Tri, the American professional triathlete team, has announced a new partnership with Utah-based ENVE Composites for 2014.

“We’re very excited by our partnership with ENVE,” says USPro Tri team Manager Ryan Bates. “As a team of American pros, we are proud to be working with a company who designs and manufactures its products right here in the US.”

ENVE has emerged as a leader in the aerodynamic wheel market with the introduction of its Smart ENVE System (SES) wheel line-up. Designed by renowned aerodynamicist Simon Smart, ENVE’s SES rims have ranked among the industry’s best in a number of independent aerodynamic tests.

In 2014, USPro Tri team members will be riding ENVE’s SES 8.9 wheelset, the brand’s most aerodynamic offering.

2013 was USPro Tri’s sixth year in existence, making it one of the longest-standing teams of its kind. 2013 was a banner year for the team: USPro Tri members accounted for two podium finishes in Ironman races and sixteen top-10 finishes in Ironman 70.3 events.

Team members represented the top American finisher at many major races, and also posted many local and regional event wins. Additionally, five team members qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships by virtue of their standing in the IM 70.3 Points Rankings.

  • In 2013 Profile Design enters its sixth year of support for USPro Tri
  • Zoot entered its third year of partnership with the team
  • Albabici continued its four year long-standing relationship with the team
  • Champion System entered its fourth season with the team

  • Smith Optics joined as a new sponsor
  • Tyre brand Kenda also joined the team in 2013 as a sponsor
