A fizz and an oaty energy release from two new Kinetica products

When it comes to endurance and recovery strategies, sports nutrition specialist, Kinetica continues to keep up the pace. Launching this week, Kinetica introduces two new products to allow athletes to beat their personal best during training and help maximise overall performance.

Electro-C
These low calorie effervescent tablets provide a convenient and refreshing way to absorb key electrolytes during training and competition, helping to provide optimum hydration.

Electrolytes are electrically charged particles formed by mineral salts and readily dissolved by fluids. Athletes can lose salts through sweat; so it is vital to replenish electrolyte levels to help maintain hydration and minimise muscle cramps associated with salt imbalance in the body.

Each Electro-C tablet (which contains only 9 kcal) includes a combination of 250mg of sodium, 75mg of magnesium (to reduce tiredness and fatigue) and 50mg of both potassium and calcium. Calcium and potassium contribute to normal muscle function. They also include 80mg of additional Vitamin C (100% RDA) to support normal energy yielding metabolism and maintain the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise.

Electro-C is available in two natural flavours – fruity Berry Blast and zingy Lemon Fizz, priced £5.99 (tube of 15 tablets).

Energy +
Energy+ bars offer an easy and tasty way to replenish vital energy stores before or during training and competing. Predominantly made up of oats and a combination of carbohydrates and nutrients, the bars provide a sustained release of energy and essential support to train harder and last longer.

Delivering 36g of carbohydrates per 50g bar and 197 calories to fuel an athletes’ training, Energy+ comes in two flavours: Caramel+Oats and Cranberry+Oats, priced £1.49 per bar.

As with all Kinetica sports nutrition supplements, each product is batch tested within the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) framework by the HFL to ISO 17025 standards and are registered with the Informed-Sport testing programme.
