Another coup for Huub as it signs French Grand Prix tri team St Raphael

French Grand Prix triathlon team St Raphael will be sporting the latest Huub wetsuits on the fast-and-furious competition circuit across France this year.

The Division One team includes former international 4×100 champion Raoul Shaw, who has recorded some of the fastest times in the Grand Prix circuit. He is joined in the team by brother Karl Shaw as well as Camille Donat and Julia Poussan.

Huub founder and managing director Dean Jackson said “This is yet another coup for Huub – attracting top triathletes to sport our clothing and wetsuits to compete at a top level.

Dean continued, “Raoul in particular has been courted by a number of other wetsuit companies and I am delighted that he has chosen Huub. The team has a great track record in the internationally renowned French Grand Prix circuit and we will obviously be following their progress with great interest in the coming months.”

International expansion
Having signed up Ironman world champion Frederik Van Lierde, to support its international expansion, HUUB has joined forces with a number of established and up and coming triathletes. These include South African athletes Richard Murray, Henri Schoeman and Wian Sullwald as well as Russian brothers Denis and Ivan Vasiliev who are all achieving recognition in the International Triathlon Union (ITU) circuit.
