ASICS has been confirmed as the Official Running Partner of the Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth, which takes place for the first time on Sunday 13 July.
This deal continues a partnership with Xtra Mile Events, the organiser of the Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth, and follows title ASICS’ sponsorship of the award winning ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon, which took place on Sunday 6 April.
ASICS will support the run section of the triathlon as well as sponsor the ‘ASICS King of the Hill’ prize for the fastest triathlete to get to Hunting Tower on the Chatsworth course after T2.
Based at one of the UK’s most iconic and best-known country estates, the Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth is positioned as a world class triathlon with options of a sprint and standard distance race in the middle of the Peak District.
The sprint distance race incorporates a 750m swim in the river Derwent followed by a 20.5K bike ride in stunning Peak District countryside. The race finishes with a challenging yet picturesque 5K run in the expansive parkland, featuring some highlights of the Chatsworth Estate including the famous Hunting Tower and the amazing views of the estate. The standard distance race consists of a 1000m swim followed by a 39K cycle leg and a 10K run.
Chatsworth, set in the heart of the Peak District, is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and has been passed down through sixteen generations of the Cavendish family.

Entry is open with costs of £62/£57 (standard/sprint) for individual entries or £75 for team relay entries. The first wave starts at 07:00 GMT and the Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth will also feature a women’s only wave.
