Energy gel pioneer GU Energy Labs has announced the release of two new products: Caramel Macchiato Energy Gel and Raspberry Chomps. This is the fifth energy gel and second Chomp flavour introduced by the leading performance nutrition brand this year.
The seasonal Caramel Macchiato GU offers athletes a rich 100-calorie holiday training formula with natural flavours and 40mg of caffeine – twice the normal amount of caffeine for GU. The new flavour contains GU’s proprietary Amino Blend as well as Potassium, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to restore electrolyte balance during prolonged outdoor activities.
The new Raspberry flavoured Chomps add to GU’s family of flavoursome solid energy fuel options, serving up 40mg of caffeine – twice the amount of standard Chomps – and GU’s optimal blend of complex and simple carbohydrates, branched chain amino acids and antioxidants for sustained energy and enhanced recovery.
